Hello! I'm curious about the Jello Jello peel off base coat and it's oil remover: I use Jojoba oil ALL. THE. TIME. all over my body to keep my skin nice. Have you or anyone else here in the comments found that has some adverse affects when using the peel off base coat? Are my nails more prone to coming off if I moisturize all the time?

YES a big fan of the imperfect circles / stars etc (so much easier and look so edgy!). Sizing can be sooo tricky, esp when some nail techniques like bulkier designs can cause the tip to be a little less flexible too 😭 Love the end design !! and looking forward to more nails content 🫶🏻

Reshape the fake nails before you do any art. It allows for a better fit and to have the edges covered nicely so that there is not an obvious edge to the nail (seeing where it has been filed versus a clean edge with color).

I have such narrow nail beds I can’t wear press ons. Have you tried stamping? I’m trying to get more exciting designs with stamps instead. 💜

I WISH we had UA-cam and all the nail products we have now when I was younger. I would have had manicured nails all the time. I was in my twenties before acrylic nails became a thing and couldn’t afford to go get them done regularly so I just never messed with my nails. Have been doing my nails at home now for about a year and a half and you are right about using cuticle oil daily and pushing them back makes your nail beds longer. I now have rounded cuticle areas instead of straight across (except the thumbs). Anyway, thanks for putting out videos like these.

I wish id have watched this before i used gel for the first time, just last week. I definitely underestimated how runny the basecoat was, used too much, and tried to clean it up before curing but it wasn't enough. I had a hard pool of it all around my thumb cuticle after curing 😂

Are the Tiny gel polishes allergy free like the Gel Monsta polishes? I’ve unfortunately recently had a minor reaction and I want products that will reduce that risk 😭

Tip for anyone in the market ❤❤ *** I own BOTH...the exact...(and I mean EXACT) lamp is sold on Amazon for about $50. The only difference is the logo they paid to have added. I compared them and everything else is the same. Down to the manufacturer info. Save those coins on the lamps folks!! I agree the Korean gel is worth the Investment as a nail tech...but with a little experience you can really save money getting quality nail stuff

Where do you find gel tips wide enoufh for your fingers(especially your thumb)?? Im assuming your hands are bigger than mine since im 5'2" and female but i have wide/flat nails 😢 w/ thumbs being 14.5-15 and 15.5-6.

Maybe I will try out syrup gels some day =) I can see myself experimenting with layering with different color syrups & toppers. I am not typically drawn to pastels or jellies or crellies however I appreciate the Leav collection has a corresponding glitter topper.

HELP! at apx 18:57 time stamp in your video you say you are going to cure it for "one twenty low heat mode"??? Were you using the little portable lamp stick you showed at the beginning of the video? If it is a different lamp can you please tell me which brand it is? And how do i know when to use low heat or normal heat? Does the lamp come with instructions? Also did you mean you cured the nail for 120 seconds? I usually do 60 at the most, but i have never tried this technique before. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
